That Castle Prince Castle is adjacent to the Kloster Marienberg That “Landmark” of Burgeis! Even far from the Reschenpass-Street, can the Fürstenburg on the edge of the village Burgeis recognize. That Castle is a Medieval castle, The 1272-1282 was built. Today, in the castle “College of Agriculture- Forestry” the Province of Bolzano housed. 1996 is the large tower partially collapsed - this was the occasion for a general restoration of the entire system, which continues at present still.

A small, but very nice Hike is that the Burgeis mountain lake: This small lake lies on a hill above Burgeis and is of Brigitte Garni In ca. 40 Minute walk errreichbar. One can of Burgeis sports in the north to Mountain Lake and then the beautiful Zig-zag path walk south to the village down, or vice versa. The way to Mountain Lake is with the Mountain Bike passable. On Mountain lake by Burgeis There is a beautiful fenced off lawn a Log Cabin, 2 Grillplätzen and a few tables and benches… were here before the FairFestivals held.

Known is our Bar particularly through the homemade cake, the exquisite Italian Expressed, Cappuccino or Latte Macchiato and the great Sundae.
But the small snacks, as Mozzarella with tomatoes, Hawai-Toast, Bauerntoast, Sausage salad, Speckplatte, Cheese plate or Merano sausage with bread are always freshly prepared and are a true Gaumenschmauss!
